College UnMazed Student Workbook
College UnMazed provides a step-by-step guide to help students and families successfully navigate the high school to college maze. College UnMazed is a colorful, interactive, infographic-based workbook that is designed to foster conversation while building necessary college knowledge and higher-order thinking skills.
Ready-Made Curriculum
College UnMazed was developed by school counselor educators to be a comprehensive curriculum. The curriculum includes the College UnMazed student workbook, ready-made slide decks for each chapter, infographics, parent letters, and detailed lesson plans with additional links and resources.
Assess Your Program
Use the College Admissions Knowledge Evaluation (CAKE) and chapter quizzes, included with the curriculum, to measure student progress. Surveys such as these can provide critical data for program stakeholders.
Engage Families
College UnMazed was designed to be an engaging conversation starter between the school, parents, and students. Each chapter includes a letter than can be sent to parents and families to guide at-home discussions.

College UnMazed was developed by school counselors, counselor educators, and higher education administrators who integrate research and data-informed practices to create an effective and efficient school-based curriculum that 1) Helps students and families navigate the college-going process, and 2) Provides practitioners with the tools and resources to foster the necessary conversations to build college knowledge and higher order thinking skills.
